Hraparak: 70% of current ministers to be relieved of posts
‘Hraparak’ paper writes citing its sources that 70% of the ministers in the current government of Armenia will be relieved of their posts. The issue of Orinats Yerkir Party’s portfolios, which depend most on the final outcome of negotiations of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), ARFD and Prosperous Armenia Party, is also undecided.
According to HHK, along with Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, several ministers such as Finance Minister David Sargsyan, Chief of the Government Staff Vatche Gabrielian, and Economy Minister Vahram Avanesian will resign as well. The possibility of Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasian’s resignation is 50/50.
“Rumors persist that President Serzh Sargsyan will attempt to clear the air by relieving the persons who compromised themselves of their posts,” the paper says.
