Zhoghovurd: Rally of 4 non-coalition parties cancelled
A joint rally of four non-coalition parties – ARFD, Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK), Armenian National Congress (HAK), and Heritage Party was planned to be held in Gyumri today, ahead of the April 28 nation-wide rally. But the rally was cancelled as the situation has changed. ARFD faction head Armen Rustamian already declared that ARFD will make part of the government if ARF-Dashnaktsutyun’s program of 7 provisions is accepted.
According to ‘Zhoghovurd’ paper, BHK also has a 7-provision program and is going to publish it soon. One of the provisions is related to abolition of the compulsory accumulative pension system. If all the seven provisions are accepted, BHK will make part of the government.
When asked what other demands BHK will put forward, Iveta Tonoyan, spokeswoman for BHK leader Gagik Tsarukian, replied she has no information.
