Ex-PM of Armenia meets with protesters
Former Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan, who resigned on April 3, has today met with participants of the protest against the introduction of compulsory accumulative pension system in Armenia.
“We invite you to a dialog. We prepared some proposals and the working group is ready to hear your proposals too. I ask you to come to Finance Ministry that can hold 100 people and discuss the problem. Legislative issues are not settled in the square,’ he noted.
T. Sargsyan’s proposal was booed.
The protesters said again that they demand removing the section on compulsory accumulative pension payments from the electronic statements of employers.
