Zhamanak: Some ministers will have to resign
Following the appointment of Hovik Abrahamian as Armenian prime minister, some high-ranking officials became concerned that they may lose their positions. At the same time, members of the former Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan’s team are worried that they will have to work in the government led by Hovik Abrahamian, ‘Zhamanak’ paper writes citing its sources.
“Discussions being held by the authorities show that Energy Minister Armen Movsisian, Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasian, Culture Minister Hasmik Poghosian, and Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artyom Asatrian may resign. Resignation of Minister of Nature Protection Aram Harutyunian is not ruled out as well,” the paper notes.
