Haykakan Zhamanak: Three candidates struggle for post of deputy PM
“Haykakan Zhamanak’ paper writes: “There are three candidates for deputy prime minister in the government to be formed. One is David Harutyunian who may become minister-chief of the Government Staff to assist Hovik Abrahamian with his work. The second candidate is ARFD member David Lokian whose son has long worked as Hovik Abrahamian’s aide. Rumors persist that Lokian may become a government member by freezing his ARFD party membership, that is, without a coalition memorandum.
And the third candidate is the current deputy PM, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgian who is considered this government’s most versatile official able to hold any position. He is the most likely candidate for deputy prime minister”.
