Russian Armenians to make Genocide film with Hollywood actors
Diaspora Armenians of Russia plan to make a film starring Hollywood actors, LifeNews.ru reported.
The film producer Valery Saharian, recalling French actor Alain Delon’s visit to Armenia, says the world-famous actor began to cry at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide. Saharian is a descendant of Armenian Genocide survivors.
“My grandmother jumped into a burning tonir so as not to be killed, but she remained alive and died at the age of 111,” the producer notes.
V. Saharian intends to ask Alain Delon to play in his new film ‘Patient . The scene is set in a Paris psychiatric clinic where Komitas is being kept. Serj Tankian is likely to write the film’s music.
