Haykakan Zhamanak: Hrayr Tovmasyan not welcome in NA
‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily writes that the chief of National Assembly staff Gurgen Dumanyan was transferred to another position yesterday: he became deputy minister – chief of the Armenian government’s staff.
“Rumors persisted in political circles last week that ex-minister of justice Hrayr Tomvasyan would be appointed as chief of NA staff instead of Dumanyan. This prospect caused panic among parliamentary employees and some deputies,” ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ says.
The paper learned that H. Tovmasyan refused to work in the parliament, saying that he will not go where he is not welcome. No decision about the new chief of NA staff has been made so far.
