Identities of those injured in Yerevan shooting established
The identities of the people injured in the shooting near Vernisage area on Khanjian Street in downtown Yerevan were established: Horayr Harutyunyan, 30, Albina Badalyan, 64, Mnatsakan Hayrapetyan, 72, Ishkhan Sukiasyan, 30, and Valery Hovhannisyan were taken to Yerevan clinical hospital No 1 with injuries, a hospital employee told Aysor.am.
Four of them are undergoing surgery, and the fifth one is being prepared for surgery.
All of them received leg injuries and are in condition of medium gravity.
Mnatsakan Hayrapetyan and Albina Badalyan said they were wounded accidentally. “One of them has a stall near Vernisage and the other was a passer-by,” the hospital employee said.
At 1:00 pm today the Armenian police received information about a shooting near Vernisage area in downtown Yerevan. An investigation is underway.
