Armenian companies to participate in 4th China-Eurasia Expo
Armenian companies will participate in 4th China-Eurasian Expo to be held in Xinjiang on September 1-6. The agreement on their participation was signed today by Director of the Armenian Development Agency (ADA) Robert Harutyunyan and Secretary-General of the Expo Li Jingyuan.
According to R. Harutyunyan, Armenia was on the Silk Road and the country today is prepared again to take part in ‘the new Silk Road’.
“Our participation in the exhibition will create an opportunity to develop cooperation between Armenia and Xinjiang. This agreement will enable to display Armenian goods and attract Chinese investors,” ADA director noted.
He expressed hope that direct flights will be launched between Yerevan and Urumqi, which will promote economic cooperation.
Li Jingyuan said for his part that the Expo will contribute to the establishment of active economic links and is a new platform for economic, commercial, investment, scientific and technological cooperation between China and Eurasian countries.
