Hovik Abrahamyan and Dmitry Medvedev discuss Armenia’s entry into CU
Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan met with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev in Minsk today, the press office of the Armenian government reported.
At the bilateral meeting the two prime ministers highly appreciated the current level of strategic relations between Armenia and Russia and discussed a wide range of issues related to cooperation of the partner states.
The interlocutors stressed the importance of implementing Armenian-Russian programs in military-political, economic, cultural, humanitarian and other fields and carrying out work on the development of new projects.
Hovik Abrahamyan and Dmitry Medvedev also discussed the process of Armenia’s entry into the Customs Union (CU) and the steps taken in that direction. They reached an agreement to continue their bilateral meetings to discuss issues and programs on the Armenian-Russian agenda.
