Four non-government factions of parliament release 12-point statement
The four non-government factions of the Armenian parliament have released a statement-demand addressed to the authorities.
The head of Heritage faction Ruben Hakobyan said the actions of the authorities do not meet expectations of people.
He also read the points of the statement adopted at the sitting of the four factions:
1. Abolition of the compulsory component of the accumulative pension system; refund of payments made.
2. Abolition of the traffic video surveillance system; reduction of fines.
3. Reduction of income tax.
4. Doubling of agricultural output.
5. Allocation of agricultural loans in Armenian drams, not in a foreign currency.
6. Resumption of Nairit Plant’s work; payment of wage arrears.
7. Ruling out the asset sale and privatization of Vorotan Hydropower Cascade.
8. Ruling out a rise in public transport fares.
9. Adoption of a legislative package on monopolies.
10. Transition to 100% proportional electoral system
11. Adoption of a legislative package on the opposition; conferring of authority on the opposition.
12. Refusal to sign any international agreements to the detriment of Artsakh.
