Aravot: Kiselev’s car was parked near main entrance of parliament
Director General of Russia Today news agency Dmitry Kiselev attended yesterday a meeting of the Armenian-Russian Club in Armenia’s National Assembly. A remarkable conversation took place between him and Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) faction deputy Hayk Babukhanyan, “Aravot” paper says.
When Babukhanyan hinted that Russia should recognize the independence of Nagorno Karabakh, Kiselev replied: “Start with yourself”. He then touched upon the problem of the Russian language in Armenia, saying that there are no Russian schools, people are not fluent in Russian and he could not even communicate with a taxi driver in Russian.
According to the paper, Kiselev’s Hammer car was parked at the main entrance of the parliament. Cars of heads of high-ranking delegations are only allowed there.
