Robertino Loreti to perform in Nagorno Karabakh

Famous Italian singer Robertino Loreti will give a charity concert in Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh). He will perform along with his accompanist Fabrizio Masci and his pupil, 12-year-old Felix Karamyan. The concert organizer, Cadence Music Center director Nika Babayan, said that Felix lives in the Russian city of Nizhni Novgorod, but he is of Karabakh descent.

Felix is a future star, Loreti says. They gave performances in the Baltic states and Scandinavia.

“There were several reasons for organizing a concert in Artsakh. The main reason is that Felix is a native of Artsakh and he wants to perform in the land of his ancestors. As for Loreti, he was inspired by the idea of a concert in Artsakh. We told him about the main problem – the prospect of being blacklisted by Baku. He now knows that after the Artsakh tour, he will have no opportunity to perform in Azerbaijan, while he received considerable remuneration there. Loreti’s answer was that if a country sets such a condition about the inadmissibility of a tour in another country, he prefers not to deal with it. He knows that he will not be allowed to perform in Azerbaijan, but this circumstance did not dampen his enthusiasm and joy over the upcoming concert in Artsakh,” Nika Babayan noted.
