Nalbandyan: Goods turnover between Russia and Armenia grows 10%
“Russia is a key foreign economic partner of Armenia,” Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan said at the press conference with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
“In 2013 the turnover of goods between Russia and Armenia amounted to $1.445 billion, increasing by over 10%. Russia is an important investor in the Armenian economy. The total amount of investments exceeds $3.2 billion,” Nalbandyan said.
In his words, in Armenia there are about 1,300 enterprises with Russian capital.
“New projects have been developed and the sides are persistently working on their implementation,” Nalbandyan said.
