Haykakan Zhamanak: Azerbaijan fires at Armenian villages
“Shots were heard again in border villages of Armenia’s Tavush province yesterday. This time the enemy violated the ceasefire by opening fire on villages of Barekamavan, Aygepar and Movses of Tavush province,” “Haykakan Zhamanak” daily writes.
The administrator of Barekamavan village Gagik Abazyan said shots were fired at residential houses, schools and kindergartens of their village from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Besides, the Azerbaijani side opened fire from large caliber guns on Aygepar village, damaging the gas pipeline. Shots at Movses village began at 10:15 pm.
The administrator of Movses village Ararat Avalyan said that a mine exploded in the village. “The whole village came under fire. These are prerequisites of war,” he said.
