Robbie Williams breaks fan's arm falling off stage
While most of us would do just about anything for a high five from Robbie Williams, one fan reportedly paid the ultimate price after the legendary crooner broke an unsuspecting audience member’s arm during a tumble off stage last month.
The singer was performing at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena on June 22 getting a tad too excited, high-fiving fans before tripping off stage and landing on poor Margaret Nash’s arm.
The Mirror newspaper reports the Robbie fanatic was taken to a nearby hospital after on site medics were worried she needed further treatment when they discovered she had broken her arm.
Paul Tattenden, the Radio Arena’s general manager told the paper the situation was dealt with immediately and Robbie’s people have been in touch with the wounded 52-year-old. He insisted: “We attended to the lady after she said she had pain in her arm.
"We were later told she had broken it. We got in touch with Robbie’s production company and they have been in touch with the lady."
