Drinking water tariff remains unchanged – PSRC
At the sitting today Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) decided to leave the tariff of drinking water for the population unchanged, but to raise the tariff of water sold to wholesale consumers, PSRC said.
The commission took a decision to raise the tariff of water sold to wholesale consumers to 17.3 AMD. The tariffs of sewage disposal and subway water disposal were set at 34.625 AMD and 9.6 AMD respectively. The decision will take effect on August 9, 2014.
Yerevan Water Company earlier filed an application to PSRC, asking it to review the water tariffs due to the upcoming rise in electricity tariffs, inflation, and currency changes.
