Hraparak: Hakob Hakobyan plans to run for deputy
Former deputy of the Armenian parliament Hakob Hakobyan is planning to run for a parliamentary deputy representing the city of Etchmiadzin. When asked by ‘Hraparak’ newspaper if it is worth spending so much money on a no-win struggle, Hakobyan replied: “Money is not the most important thing. I am the only person capable of contradicting General Manvel in Etchmiadzin. Why shouldn’t I run for deputy? People should not think the whole city belongs to Manvel. His son will become our governor soon, and his daughter is a judge. People complain that they file a lawsuit to the court, while his daughter works there. I feel sorry for people”.
