Aravot: Why reforms failed …
Armenian political scientists, commentators and many other respected political figures are discussing further actions of the four non-coalition parties, including the issue of whether they will achieve Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s resignation (if they pursue that goal), ‘Aravot’ writes.
“Of course, those interested in this issue can make assumptions. As regards a change of power, one should take into account the fact that the current ruling political team is the ‘main player’ of the Kremlin, while the four parties are backups.
If a change of power takes place, it will not be the result of the four factions’ heroic struggle, but a Kremlin-initiated change with the participation of the same team of players,” the paper notes.
