JACES staff make inventory of K. Demirchyan SCC
Employees of the Judicial Acts Compulsory Enforcement Service (JACES) entered today Yerevan Sports and Concert Complex after Karen Demirchyan (SCC).
SCC spokeswoman Lilia Adunts told the correspondent of Aysor.am that at noon a large group of JACES employees entered the SCC building without showing any documents.
“About 25 employees of the Complex were asked the leave the building. No reasons were presented. Then JACES staff began to make an inventory. The fact is that is still no decision about who is the owner of this property, whether it was seized or not, and on what grounds an inventory was made,” L. Adunts said.
According to her, all the offices of SCC were sealed after the inventory, that is, the employees can no longer get into their offices.
In addition, safes, accounting documents, and agreements remain in the sealed offices. “When our staff asked JACES employees to show any substantiating documents, they did not do it,” Lilia Adunts said.
In her words, over $50 million out of the $500 million loan that Russia gave to Armenia in 2009 were allocated to BAMO Group, while in 2012 that loan was refinanced to Karen Demirchyan SCC.
“Part of the loan was repaid, and a request was made to extend the deadline of the remaining sum’s payment, but the request was rejected and a suit was filed to court,” the spokeswoman said.
All attempts of the correspondent of Aysor.am to contact JACES spokeswoman Rima Yeganyan have failed today.
