Meat prices go up 1% in July
4% fall in vegetable oil and butter prices was reported in Armenia in July 2014 compared to July 2013. Prices in the commodity group increased by 1.6% in July compared with June 2014, mainly due to 4.3% increase in sunflower oil prices, according to National Statistical Service.
Meat prices rose by 0.1% in July 2014 compared to July 2013 and by 1.0% on June 2014, due to an increase in prices of beef (1.1%) and pork (10.9%).
0.3-1.5% increase in meat prices was reported in 10 Armenian cities in July on June of this year. Meat prices declined by 0.2% in one city. Prices of meat products in Yerevan went up by 1.0% in the indicated period.
