Armenian government allocates 147M drams to rural communities
The Armenian government allocated today 147 million drams from its reserve fund to communities of Tavush and Gegharkunik provinces.
Deputy Prime Minister, Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan said that in particular, funds will be provided for the construction of an abutment at especially dangerous sections in Chinar community of Tavush to ensure the security of local residents and for the construction of an irrigation canal in Aygedzor community.
According to Gevorgyan, strong winds in several communities of Gegharkunik province caused problems that require urgent resolution. In particular, it is necessary to repair the school in Tsakkar community and the roof and drains of Sevan hospital.
“Unless these problems are solved as soon as possible, we will have to invest larger sums,” the minister said.
