Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent today a congratulatory message to the world-famous conductor and violinist, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of Russia’s National Philharmonic Vladimir Spivakov congratulating him on his 70th birthday. The message reads in particular:
“Your creative career inspires a wide circle of fans and serves as an example for the younger generation. You rightfully deserve the title of a prominent Soviet and Russian violinist and conductor who has won unconditional recognition on the international arena.
Your creative work is loved and highly appreciated in our country where you became a close person long ago when you stood by the Armenian people’s side in the most difficult moment.
Your longstanding public, charitable and pedagogical activities aimed at finding and supporting young talents contribute to the continuation of the traditions that you introduced to the development of musical arts.
In this connection I would like to thank you for consistent assistance given to talented Armenian children through the Vladimir Spivakov Charity Foundation.
Respected Vladimir Teodorovich, I wish you incessant energy and success in your creative activities”.
