Armenian prime minister receives delegation led by Baroness Cox
Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received the member of the British House of Lords Baroness Caroline Cox and representatives of the Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust (HART) organization, according to the press office of the Armenian government.
The head of government highly appreciated Baroness Cox’s activities aimed at providing true information about the Karabakh conflict and problems of the Armenian people from various podiums. Caroline Cox’s concern for the people of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic will be remembered for many centuries, he said.
Baroness Cox said she is glad to know people of the NKR and have the opportunity to help them in a difficult moment and she is happy to see achievements of Armenia and Artsakh. She expressed readiness to continue assisting the Armenian people and promote Armenian-British relations.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to implementation of HART-planned programs in Armenia, as well as regional problems and the Karabakh conflict settlement process. Priorities in the Armenian government program were also addressed. The prime minister presented Baroness Cox and the delegation members with watches engraved with their names.
