Haykakan Zhamanak: EEU will be a severe test for non-coalition trio

‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily learned from a representative of a political force making part the trio of non-government parliamentary forces of Armenia that the issue of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) will become a severe test for the trio.

As is well known, Heritage Party and its leader Raffi Hovannisian are vehement opponents of EEU, while Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) and Armenian National Congress (HAK) are not opposed to that union. It is not ruled out that at the upcoming rally Raffi Hovannisian will voice a negative and critical opinion about EEU and this circumstance raises concern of the two other parliamentary factions.

According to the paper, HAK and BHK so far avoided discussing this issue at meetings of the non-government trio. Besides, the problem is not perceived unambiguously within Heritage Party as well.
