ChI: Gold market employees forbidden to buy gold from banks
‘Chorrord Ishkhanutyun’ paper writes citing its sources that a long time ago Vargharsh Abrahamyan, the owner of the Yerevan gold market, established new rules for market employees.
Rumors persist that the market employees trading in gold items are forbidden from buying gold bars from banks. The owner said he himself would supply gold and sell it to traders at the prices set by him.
“Prior to that, traders could buy gold for jewelry at affordable prices from banks, but now they have to buy gold bars from Vagharsh at higher prices. In case of disobedience, the gold market owner threatened to terminate the labor contract and fire the employee,” the paper says.
