Government approves draft document on Armenia’s entry into EEU
The Armenian government approved the draft document on Armenia’s accession to the Agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
Upon its accession to the agreement, Armenia becomes a member of the Eurasian Economic Union.
From this point, the acts of the EEU are to be executed in the territory of Armenia.
The annex to the document states 29 agreements to which Armenia accedes, the terms of the Republic’s membership in the EEU, and transitional provisions. A separate annex lists the goods and service on which customs duties will be imposed during the transition period. These duties are different from those used in the Customs Union of the Eurasian Economic Union.
