Hraparak: President did not violate presumption of innocence
The correspondent of ‘Hraparak’ paper asked Armenian Justice Minister Hivhannes Manukyan if President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan violated the presumption of innocence by saying recently that Shant Harutyunyan committed a crime, while there is still no court decision about it.
“The president asked a rhetorical question about whether a person is convicted of such actions in any country or not. I did not see anything concrete in the president’s words concerning that man so the presumption of innocence was not violated,” the minister noted.
