168 Hours: Gagik Tsarukyan to attend joint rally of trio
The most frequently asked question ahead of the October 10 rally of non-coalition political forces is whether the leader of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Gagik Tsarukyan will attend the joint rally, ‘168 Hours’ paper says.
According to the paper’s sources close to BHK, Tsarukyan will participate in the rally. It is rumored that no statements about Tsarukyan’s participation are made to arouse interest in the issue.
Moreover, change of power will be the main issue at the rally and it is not ruled out that an indefinite sit-in and continuous rallies will start on October 10 with this aim.
Yet, according to ‘Hraparak’ paper’s information, BHK leader Gagik Tsarukyan is not going to attend the October 10 joint rally of three non-coalition parliamentary parties.
“Although ‘the trio’ keeps the intrigue and does not rule out participation of parliamentary forces’ leaders in the October 10 rally, BHK members do not doubt that their leader will not attend the rally.
How can Gagik Tsarukyan go to Liberty Square, if he does not consider any talk about constitutional reforms as serious in the current stage? – BHK members said in response to a question of Hraparak’s correspondent and his remark that Tsarukyan declared in his interview that he will be ready to answer all the questions when the package of reforms is ready.
The paper says that if Tsarukyan does not attend the joint rally, others are also unlikely to participate in it.
