Yerevan hosts sitting of CIS tax investigation agencies’ council
The 16th sitting of the Coordinating Council of Tax (Financial) Investigation Agencies of CIS member stares was held in Yerevan, the press service of Armenian Finance Ministry reported.
During the sitting attended also by representatives of Latvia and Georgia, the Coordinating Council discussed the directions of the fight against tax crimes and the cooperation of countries.
In particular, the participants indicated the scenarios of improving cooperation of CIS tax investigation bodies on the fight against crimes related to opening of accounts abroad. A delegation of Finance Ministry presented Armenia’s experience in this area.
At the sitting, the Head of Operational Search Department of Armenia’s State Revenue Committee Robert Galoyan assumed chairmanship of the Coordinating Council from Igor Marshalov, Director of the Department for Financial Investigation of Belarus.
A protocol was signed by representatives of Armenia, Russia, Moldova, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan at the conclusion of the sitting.
