First Armenian-Polish joint military venture opens in Armenia
The first Armenian-Polish joint military production venture “Lubawa-Armenia” was opened in the city of Charentsavan today.
Created on the basis of the former Charentsavan machine tool plant, Lubawa-Armenia will repair and modernize production facilities and produce camouflage.
Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan said the company opens a new page in the history of Armenian-Polish cooperation in the field of defense. He expressed confidence that the venture will soon expand its production and enter the markets of the Eurasian Economic Union and other international markets.
The opening ceremony was attended by Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, the Ambassador of Poland to Armenia Zdzisław Raczyński, Member of the Polish Senate, ex-Minister for National Defense Bogdan Klich, other guests.
