CHI: Aram Harutyunyan wants to be territorial administration minister
Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan resigned yesterday. According to ‘Chorrord Ishkhanutyun’ paper, on the one hand President Serzh Sargsyan is actively looking for a new minister of territorial administration, while on the other hand, negotiations are underway about which ministry will receive status of deputy PM.
Economy Minister Karen Chshmarityan, Minister of Transport and Communications Gagik Beglaryan and Finance Minister Gagik Khachatryan want to get the post of deputy prime minister. Besides, ex-minister, currently the governor of Armenia’s Kotayk province Aram Harutyunyan has become active in recent days as he wants to become minister of territorial administration.
