Economist: By joining EEU, Armenia will be bridge between West and East
As a member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Armenia will have great prospects and opportunities of development, economist Vardan Bostanjyan, a former member of Prosperous Armenia (BHK) parliamentary faction, told journalists today.
According to him, Armenia was not awaited in the European Union and the country did not pin any great hopes on the EU either.
V. Bostanjyan expressed confidence that by joining the EEIU, Armenia will become a bridge between the West and the East, while the refusal to accede to that union would result in the country’s isolation.
