One of Azerbaijani saboteurs accuses the other during trial
At the court sitting held in Stepanakert, one of the two Azerbaijani saboteurs accused the other of spying for Azerbaijan’s special service. During his testimony, Dilham Askerov declared that Shahbaz Guliyev is a “dirty man, an employee of Azerbaijani Ministry of National Security” and was sent to Karvachar region of Nagorno Karabakh on purpose, according to Artsakhpress.am.
When asked by Judge Anatoly Tadevosyan if pressure was put during the investigation, Shahbaz Guliyev denied any pressure on him.
D. Askerov testified for his part that when approaching Karvachar, they looked through binoculars and saw an uninhabited farm. They stole outerwear after finding a passport, a military ID card and money in its pocket.
They did not answer anything when asked why they brought Azerbaijani flags with them.
The trial is being held in a general court of first instance of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic.
