Armenian justice minister on working visit to Astana
Armenian Justice Minister Hovhannes Manukyan is on a three-day working visit to Kazakhstan, according to the press service of Justice Ministry.
Accompanied by Armenian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Ara Sahakyan, the minister met with members of Astana’s Armeniacommunity and discussed problems of concern to local Armenians. Organizational issues and employment problems of Kazakhstan-based Armenians were addressed.
Hovhannes Manukyan handed the community head primers that Armenia’s Diaspora Ministry gave for children attending the Sunday school.
The meeting participants underlined the importance of links with the homeland and asked the minister questions about the expected changes after Armenia’s entry into the Customs Union.
Hovhannes Manukyan promised to help with solution of the problems facing the community.
