EU to allocate 170 million euros to Armenia
The European Union will allocate 140-170 million euros to Armenia in 2014-2017 for private sector development, and reforms in public administration and justice system. The memorandum of understanding was signed in Brussels by Armenian Minister of Economy Karen Chshmarityan and European Commission member, European Commissioner for Enlargement Negotiations and European Neighborhood Policy Johannes Hahn.
The Support for Agriculture and Rural Development Agreement was signed, under which 25 million euros will be allocated.
Minister Chshmarityan also met with Daniel Calleja Crespo, Director General of the Enterprise and Industry Directorate-General of the European Commission.
