Armenian PM, BSTD Bank president discuss cooperation prospects
Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received today a delegation of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank led by its President Ihsan Delikanli, according to the press office of the government.
Welcoming the guest, the prime minister stressed the importance of efficient cooperation with the bank for development of the private sector. He said that the Armenian government implements large-scale work on improvement of the business environment and reduction of the shadow economy.
The sides considered it important to cooperate and implement joint projects in IT sector, agriculture, infrastructure, pharmaceutics, and industry.
Ihsan Delikanli expressed his gratitude for warm reception, noting that the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank, taking the Armenian government’s priorities into account, attaches great importance to the deepening of further cooperation with the real sector.
According to him, their bank is ready to assist the government with improvement of the business environment and it is planned to hold a joint business forum in Armenia. He said the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank signed a new credit agreement with the private sector, with funds to be provided for SMEs development in Armenia.
The interlocutors discussed other issues related to bilateral cooperation.
