Armenian PM receives Cisco Systems President

Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received Cisco Systems President for Business Development Mario Mazzola, the recipient of the Armenian President’s 2014 Annual IT Award, according to the press office of the Armenian government.

The prime minister stated that the development of information and digital technology is among the government’s priorities as an area where our country can have a competitive advantage. This fastest growing branch in Armenia has a 20-25% annual growth, and there is still great potential for its further development.

Thanking the prime minister for a warm welcome, Mario Mazzola informed the premier of his company’s activities, achievements and future plans, after which the parties discussed the prospects for boosting cooperation.

According to Hovik Abarhamyan, given the successful experience of cooperation with Cisco Systems, the government is prepared to expand it and support every reasonable initiative.
