Haykakan Zhamanak: Yeritsyan not sure he will head new ministry
‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily writes citing sources that Armenian Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan is not sure that he will head the new structure to be created by merging Ministry of Territorial Administration and Ministry of Emergency Situations or that he will hold that position for a long time.
“The fact is that most of the police will also be included in the new ministry over time and Yeritsyan has some doubts that in this case the current Armenian Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan will be appointed minister. Yet, according to our sources, no significant changes related to the structure and status of the police will happen in the near future. Such changes may only happen in the second half of 2015,” the daily says.
