Hraparak: Armen Ghularyan wants to be governor again
Ex-governor of Tavush province Armen Ghularyan who currently works as Armenian deputy minister of urban development can’t adapt to his new work and mulls over the possibility of returning to his previous job, according to ‘Hraparak’. “It is rumored in political circles that the ex-governor decided to do it step by step and he plans to run in the regular elections in the city of Ijevan, Tavush province in 2015. To get the go-ahead from the Republican Party of Armenia, he talked with Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan who is rumored to have refused his request. The current mayor of Ijevan is member of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) Vardan Ghularyan who also intends to run in the elections, while Hovik Abrahamyan is reluctant to field anyone against BHK so he gave A. Ghularyan to understand that he should be content with his current post,” the paper writes.
