Iravunk: Heritage Party displeased with Raffi Hovannisian’s position

‘Iravunk’ says that Heritage Party members Zaruhi Postanjyan, Styopa Safaryan and others publicly oppose the positions of the party leader Raffi Hovanniian, particularly on joint activities of the troika of non-governing parliamentary parties.

“It also turns out that deputy head of the party Armen Martirosyan is also not quite happy with Raffi Hovannisian’s statements, to put it mildly. He said in an interview with ‘Hayots Ashkharh’ paper: “Of course, I have my own opinion of the problems touched on by Mr. Hovannisian and other problems. But I consider it correct to keep the party discipline… I prefer to speak about my own observations within the party, but I publicly present the decisions taken by the majority”.  It is evident that Armen Martirosyan does not agree with Raffi Hovannisian, but because of the “party discipline”, he does not declare his positions publicly – unlike Zaruhi Postanjyan who, according to A. Martirosyan,  ‘has a wider range of freedoms’”, the paper writes.
