SIS established its special position in Armenian law enforcement system

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message today on the 7th anniversary of the creation of the Special Investigation Service, according to the presidential press service. The message says in particular:

“The consistent progress and development of the Service and the positive indices recorded in the fight against crime should be noted with satisfaction. It is also necessary to stress the principled stand, restraint and impartiality of the Special Investigation Service in active anti-corruption activities, initiatives regarding improvement of the legislation, and other issues related to your daily work.

Over the past seven years the Special Investigation Service has established its special position, role and significance in the law enforcement system of Armenia. 

The Special Investigation Service mostly managed to fulfill the tasks set before it, with its personnel composed of investigators capable of successfully withstanding modern challenges. Effective investigations are conducted into cases under the jurisdiction of the Service.

You should continue improving the work aimed at ensuring efficiency of the fight against corruption and crime and the protection of human rights.
I am convinced that thanks to your principled position, diligence, experience, professional knowledge and new approaches to work organization you will be able to honorably perform your complex tasks”.
