Hraparak: Problems arise between Ara Abrahamyan and Gagik Tsarukyan
‘Hraparak’ paper writes citing sources that problems arose between President of the Union of Armenians in Russia Ara Abrahamyan and Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) leader Gagik Tsarukyan.
“On Saturday BHK rented a hall in Moscow’s Izmaylovo district to hold a consultation on the formation of the Armenian Diaspora’s national headquarters led by Vartan Oskanian. Director of Luding Company Armen Shakhazizyan who is a partner of BHK leader Gagik Tsarukyan in Russia helped to fill a hall for 1000 people. BHK leader also asked Ara Abrahamyan to help mobilize Armenians of Moscow. The latter refused his request noting that a festival of Armenian dance was being held and they had better join them. He probably thought that Armenian leadership would not like the event, at which non-progovernmemt theses could be voiced. By the way, Ara Abrahamyan and Gagik Tsarukyan are business partners in Armenia, in Hyundai business,” the paper writes.
