Haykakan Zhamanak: Armenia hopes to get $200 million loan
Haykakan Zhamanak’ says that Armenia will get a loan of $200 million from international organizations by late 2014. The Armenian government hopes that this sum will help stabilize the situation on Armenia’s financial market.
According to a high-ranking government member who spoke on condition of anonymity, mechanisms to prevent the currency outflow into Russia are being discussed. This is considered an important goal of the financial market as an opinion was expressed that the dram depreciation is a result of the dollar outflow from Armenia into Russia. The parliament ratified a number of credit agreement yesterday.
