90th anniversary of Prosecutor’s Office marked in Nagorno Karabakh

President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic (Artsakh) Bako Sahakyan attended an event to mark the 90th anniversary of the Prosecutor’s Office held at the Stepanakert Palace of Culture and Youth.

The president congratulated the staff of the Prosecutor’s Office on the anniversary and handed over certificates about conferment of ‘Merited Lawyer of the NKR’ honorary titles to a group of employees and veterans of the system. 

Bako Sahakyan said in his speech that the Prosecutor’s Office is a key structure ensuring the country’s vital activity and its serious path and achievements bear evidence of that.

He stressed that the state will continue to assist with consistent steps to raise the efficiency of the system, modernize its material and technical basis and improve the working and social conditions of employees.

Among the event participants were Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Prime Minister of the NKR Ara Harutyunyan, Armenian Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan, other officials.
