Ministry sets up rapid response group for calls on Armenia entry into EEU
Armenian Finance Ministry set up a rapid response group to answer phone calls concerning Armenia’s upcoming membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEIU), the ministry’s press service said.
The purpose is to familiarize the public and persons engaged in foreign economic activities with the amendments to legislation and customs procedures.

Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan signed the agreement on the establishment of the Eurasian Economic Union on May 29, 2014 in Astana. An agreement to enlarge the EEU to Armenia was signed on 9 October 2014. The Union will officially go into effect on 1 January 2015.
