Armenian prime minister attends opening of Cadaster Committee unit

Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan attended today the opening of a unified territorial unit of the State Committee of Real Estate Cadaster adjunct to the Armenian government, the press office of the government said.

The subunits of Kotayk, Aragatsotn and Armavir provinces have been merged. The prime minister familiarized himself with the working conditions and the work done following the introduction of an electronic system.

The activities of the new unit will help reduce corruption risks by limiting the contacts between officials and citizens.

The prime minister hailed the cadaster reforms and underlined the importance of their continuation.

The merger of the branches will create the opportunity to do large-scale work to summarize the archive materials and eliminate shortcomings during their digitalization.
