Permyakov pleads guilty to charge brought by Armenian investigators
Armenia’s Investigative Committee (IC) continues to provide information about the investigation into the criminal case of the murder of the Avetisyan family in Gyumri on January 12, 2015. The case was opened under Article 104 part 2 point 1 (murder of two or more persons) of the Criminal Code of Armenia.
According to the press service of the IC, during the investigation the investigative group set up by Armenian IC has taken urgent investigatory actions such as the examination of the crime scene, questioning of over 30 witnesses, and conducting over a dozen tests. Other investigatory and operational search actions were also carried out.
A decision was taken to involve Valery Permyakov as an accused person in the criminal case, and investigators of Armenia’s Investigative Committee brought a charge against V. Permyakov under the Armenian Criminal Code’s Article 104 part 2 point 1 – premediated murder of two or more persons. Valery Permyakovpleaded guilty to the charge.
