Hraparak: Inter-clan clashes may start again in Gyumri

‘Hraparak’ writes citing sources that inter-clan clashes may start again with ex-mayor Vardan Ghukasyan in Gyumri against the backdrop of renewed activity of Martun Grigoryan, a parliamentary deputy from the city. In all likelihood the parliamentary seat for electoral district 34 will be an occasion for that.

Gyumri residents say that Vardan Ghukasyan and Martun Grigoryan have equal chances to win. Ghukasyan’s supporters claim that the rating of young member of Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) M. Grigoryan increased recently due to his participation in the tragic events in Gyumri, while Vardan Ghukasyan always had high ratings… “Martun spoiled his quite successful show when he at the last moment called people “dear voters”, thus showing that he views that tragedy as a pre-election event,” the paper says.
