Haykakan Zhamanak: Permyakov wasn’t acquainted with Avetisyans
A member of Armenia’s Investigative Committee told the correspondent of ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily yesterday that during the preliminary investigation into the Gyumri mass murder case, investigators dismissed the version that the accused man, Valery Permyakov, was acquainted with a member of the murdered family.
“Immediately after the incident, rumors started circulating that either Permyakov knew a member of the Avetisyan family or he met that person on social network. An official who spoke on condition of anonymity said that enough evidence has been collected to dismiss this version. The daily also learned that on Friday Armenian investigators questioned Permyakov once again and he answered all the questions,” the paper writes.
